So the British government this week announced that it wouldn’t contribute to the €1 trillion Eurozone bail out fund. That’s the most sensible decision that the coalition government has done since they started running the country.
Pundits are saying that it’s bad news for the country as we are effectively locking ourselves out of European decisions, but I think that in the long run it will be a good thing for the country as we won’t be getting dragged further into the shitter by European countries that don’t know how to budget.
I’m wondering if Chancellor George Osborne has read my recent blog post criticising the government over Eurozone bail out fund contribution plans, as this U-turn seems to have happened out of the blue.
